Joey Bada$$' ALL-AMERIKKAN BADA$$ has moved 51,000 album equivalent units in its opening week, placing it at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. Of those 54k units, 28,000 came through in traditional sales. Joey's debut album B4.DA.$$ achieved similar sales in 2015, moving 58,000 units. It also debuted at No. 5.

Joey had some stiff competition this week, falling under releases from The Chainsmokers, Drake, Ed Sheeran, and Pentatonix. The Chainsmokers' Memories... Do Not Open debuted at No. 1 with 221,000 equivalent album units.

On Saturday, Bada$$ expressed his satisfaction with his first week of sales on Instagram. However, his reaction was to the initially reported 47,000 figure, so he should be happy to hear about these new official numbers. View his post below.
