It’s been a minute since we lats heard from slaughterhouse rapper Joel Ortiz. With exception to his contribution on Slaughterhouse’s “Chopping Block” record with Royce Da 5’9, the last time Joel impacted our site was back in May when he dropped off the song “God Forbid,” but thankfully that changes here today. Out of nowhere, Joel decided to come through and share new song on his soundcloud page called “Talk Dat” featuring Fred The Godson.

Going in over a flip of Pharoahe Monch’s “Simon Says” beat (aka the Godzilla theme), Joel & Fred trade bars and deliver a slick, two and a half minute lyrical onslaught for fans to digest. If you’re fan of bars & lyricism, then you’ll appreciate this one. No word yet as for where this will end up, but hopefully we don’t have to wait months again to hear more from Joell.

Take a listen and let us know what you think!

Quotable Lyrics:

Im hearing New York back, yeah they saying New Work back
Ya Im hearing that talk, ight Joell talk dat
Black Polo tee, 40 tuck where the horse at?
If you was in my shoes you would take them off where I walk at
