Joe Budden has been dropping steady heat ahead of All Love Lost, and now that the full stream is at our disposal, it is clear that he was sure to keep some of the album's best tracks under wraps. One such song is Boi-1da-produced "Love For You," the song's final track.
"[To] be very clear," Budden said in a recent podcast, "because the deluxe version of the album has “Only Human” and “Fuck ‘em All”, this song is the end of the album. On the album that I’m going to go and buy, this song is the end. […] The body of work, the way that I envisioned it, this is the end. […] This is where the All Love Lost story comes to an end and it’s just appropriate."
Budden said that Boi-1da played him the beat while they were at the club: "t was one of those weird phases where I thought my album was finished, but as an artist I knew something was missing, it was one of those. […] And fucking Boi-1da said, he happened to be next door, and he hopped over and he said, uh, 'yo, I wanna play you some shit.' So he started playing some shit, and it was all amazing."
