JMSN already had an absolute jam on his hands with “Cruel Intentions,” but ahead of his album’s release in a few months he’s shared a remix of the single. This new version includes singer Snoh Aalegra, who you might recognize from Vince Staples' “Señorita.”
The song is still a bluesy ballad, but with Snoh’s impressive vocals setting the tone for the song and gives it even more depth. The sparse instrumentation of mostly keys and drums allows the duo’s voices to shine as they sing of heartbreak and frustration.
