Though Kanye West's celebrity friends seem to have booted him from the group-chat of late, it seems a recent reconciliation has worked wonders for Ye's social status. After the divisive rapper took to Twitter to disavow politics, particularly the Candace Owens-associated "Blexit" movement, of which he was rumored to be involved. "My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in," wrote Kanye, on Tuesday evening. "I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!"

It would appear that such olive branches were enough to win over a select group of celebrity Democrats, including Jimmy Kimmel. The host of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" recently sent a couple of lovetaps at Yeezy, who has once again seen the quote-unquote light. "Now the president doesn't even have Kanye anymore," said Kimmel on the show. “Finally, the voices in his head are starting to talk sense.”

A cheap shot, and mildly amusing in a gallows sense, though given Kanye's previous history with mental health it may ring in poor taste. It's interesting to see those who profess an inclusive culture make fun of mental illness, with gavel fixed firmly in hand. One has to wonder whether Kanye will truly stay fixed in his newfound mindstate. After all, everybody and their mother seems likely to chime in on him, and a natural contrarian can only take so much. How can one man have all this POWER?????
