Actor and singer Jennifer Hudson hasn't released a new album since 2011's I Remember Me, but that will all change on September 23rd when she drops the nickname-inspired JHUD. Along with the due date, she's shared artwork that shows her in front of her native Chicago skyline, emblazoned with the album's name.

The album is apparently '70s-inspired (which makes sense in the wake of the almost disco-y collaboration she dropped with R. Kelly a few months ago), and will include the previously-released, Timbaland-produced "Walk It Out." A Pharrell-produced single, “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel),” which will also feature T.I., will also appear on the project.
