Hov dedicates his new 35-song playlist to the golden era of hip-hop.

Jay Z is back tonight with another one of his curated Tidal playlists. Back in July, he shared his “Songs For Survival” playlist which featured the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Outkast, Bob Marley & many others, and now tonight he’s back with another one called “Brick Phone.”

Running 35-tracks deep, Hov dedicates this playlist to the golden era of hip-hop, where the “brick phone” was a highly sought out accessory for drug dealers & hustlers making moves in the streets. Picking mostly artists & legends from that time frame, Hov enlists Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Boogie Down Productions, Public Enemy, Rakim, Eazy-E, Ice T, Ice Cube, NWA, UGK, E-40, & many more for his latest playlist.

Just in time for the weekend, stream Hov’s personal 35-track playlist (below).
