Jay-Z's new album 4:44 has captured the attention of hip-hop heads the world over since its release last week. It boasts several solid tracks but, out of all of them, none might be more biting than the opener, "Kill Jay Z."

On this track, Hov takes the opportunity to lash back out at everyone who has wronged him or double-crossed him in the past, namely the haters who throw stones that he thinks aren't merited. Most noticeable, of course, is his calling out of Kanye West. He claims to have done "cool" by Yeezus, rapping that "You gave him 20 million without blinkin'/He gave you 20 minutes on stage, fuck was he thinkin'?" As we've reported, this caught Kanye by surprise and has led him to severe ties with Tidal.

Jay-Kanye drama aside, it's a terrific track on an album that shows the young kids that one of the legends of the game has still got it.

Quotable Lyrics

You walkin' around like you invincible
You dropped outta school, you lost your principles
I know people backstab you, I felt bad too
But this 'fuck everybody' attitude ain't natural
But you ain't a saint, this ain't kumbaye
