The Jay-Z/Kanye West spat continues to become more complicated.
According to a new report from TMZ, the bitterness between the two stems from Kanye's infamous concert rant from 2016. Sources say that Jay was enraged when Kanye went after Beyoncé then calling out Jay for shutting him out of his life during a tirade at a November 19th concert in Sacramento. Hov apparently doesn't really buy the reasoning that Kanye was in a fragile mental state at that time.
One source siad that Kanye was days away from looking into some really serious mental issues. He understands Jay's point of view but wants everyone to "give Kanye a break." Kanye supposedly had no idea Jay would go after him on his new album 4:44 and was floored when he heard the lyrics in question.
