Chris Rock's new movie, Top Five, is set to be co-produced by none other than Jay Z and Kanye West.
This is pretty crazy news. Chris Rock's upcoming film Top Five, which he wrote, directed and starred in, is set to be co-produced by two of hip-hop's biggest names. Yes, Jay Z and Kanye West (or "The Throne" if you will) are serving as co-producers on the film, which also counts The Roots' Questlove as its executive music producer.
No word yet on a release date, but according to Deadline.com, the film also stars Rosario Dawson, Gabrielle Union, Kevin Hart, Tracy Morgan, Cedric The Entertainer, J.B. Smoove, Sherri Shepherd, Anders Holm, Romany Malco, Leslie Jones, Michael Che, and Jay Pharoah.
Stay tuned for more details.
