After a few years of languishing in no-new-music purgatory, TDE OG Jay Rock returned recently with two new tracks, "Parental Advisory" and "Pay For It." Today, the former gets video treatment.
The Snoop Dogg-sampling track get visuals that attest to Jay Rock's streetness, showing him doing bench presses in his front yard, haning out with his dawgs and a particularly ferocious-looking guard dog. B roll shows various residents of the rapper's neighborhood in black and white, making the video (and track) seem more and more like a testament to his upbringing and current environment.
Hopefully, that Jay Rock album is on the way...
