We were impressed with Jay Prince (not to be confused with Jas Prince) after we heard his Musiq Soulchild "Sunny" flip on "Heights." Grateful to be back home in the UK after his "Beautiful Mercy" North American tour, Prince sat down at the computer and made a new track "for everyone that's been supporting me on this journey."

Entitled "Homecoming/Love Is," the song is broad in scope, as Prince takes pause to reflect on his career, his youth, and the fact that despite his success he's still "just coping." The harmonies with Chicago singer Sylvie Grace on the chorus are particularly nice.

The song went up almost a week ago but it's too good not to post.

Quotable Lyrics

The boy ain't never been better
It's like everything I did,
Every move I made
Made me who I am today
