It takes a production master to pair Young Thug with a classic soul sample and make it seamless. Thankfully, that's exactly what Jamie xx is, and on his latest track, Thugger Thugger sounds right at home over a warm sample of The Persuasions' 1972 track "Good Times." Here's "I Know There's Gonna Be (Good Times)" from Jamie's upcoming album, In Colour.
Originally planned to feature both Young Thug and Jamaican dancehall star Popcaan, this one unfortunately only has the former on it, but as we're still a few weeks out from album release time, that could change. Let us know what you think of this one.
