Jamie Foxx is set on blessing the public with his acting chops every since his breakout role in Ray, after playing the film industry's game for over a decade. He is keeping the momentum going with his roles in critically-acclaimed productions like Dream Girls and Django Unchained. His latest project, Robin Hood, is set to hit the silver screen before this year's US Thanksgiving on November 21st.

The actor portrays the character of Little John who opens the trailer saying: “You were a lord, but now you get to become a thief, and I’m going to show you how.” The action-packed montage that follows features Taron Egerton as Robin Hood in awe-inspiring battle choreographies.

The trailer for Robin Hood points to the action film's being legit. This cinematic version of the tale will definitely set itself apart from the now-forgotten 1991 version as well the one from 2010 that cast Russel Crowe as the lead. The snippet below previews the movie's modern twist. All elements of the production seem current in terms of aesthetic. Forms of anachronisms are featured purposefully in the movie. The remake shares this concept with the 1996 version of Romeo & Juliet, which became a classic. The newest Robin Hood is likely to share the same kind of success.
