It seems as though Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are no longer together after Jamie announced that he's officially back on the market at this past weekend's Oscar celebrations. "It was very nonchalant,” a source told US Weekly, describing when Jamie made the announcement during a performance at Beverly Wilshire Hotel. “While he was referring to married and single couples, he just dropped the line ‘I’m single.’”
Jamie and Katie were last spotted together in December celebrating Katie's 40th birthday in New York, going for brunch with her mother. The duo first sparked dating rumours in October of 2013 and Jamie confirmed their romance in March of 2015.
Jamie was one of many celebrities to attend Beyonce and Jay-Z's Oscar after-party on Sunday night and he went in hand-in-hand with actress Jessica Szohr.
Back when Jamie and Katie were together, sources said things were rocky based on the fact that Jamie wouldn't commit. “No one understands why Katie loves a man who can’t seem to commit or why he’s publicly humiliating her like this,” a source said.
“Everyone just wants her to take care of herself and to be happy. But she won’t let go of Jamie. When Katie and Jamie are together, it works. It’s weird, but it’s what works for them.”
