JAHKOY is an L.A. transplant who grew up in Toronto. The influence of both regions can be found on his most recent single, which is produced by Brampton's own Wondagurl alongside promising newcomer NOVA. The record starts off murky and morose, much like the downer R&B coming out of Ontario right now, but by then end, it's taken to a turn for the bright, as a house-y dance beat enters alongside a warm, optimistic synth arrangement.

Meanwhile, JAHKOY feels comfortable both rapping and singing, but shines most when he's doing the latter, and naturally, he lets melody drive the majority of the record.

Quotable Lyrics:
If it doesn't feel the same anymore
Then it's all on me, it's all on me
There's no one to blame anymore
And It's all on me, it's all on me
