Jacquees is one of the most promising young voices in R&B right now. He's been teasing some new music including his debut album 4275 which has yet to get a release date. However, the singer has a lot in store for his fans. Unfortunately, the rapper faced some issues earlier today. Footage of his arrest in South Beach surfaced without much context to it. However, new reports have surfaced that explained what happened.

Jacquees was arrested earlier today in South Beach for allegedly driving without a seatbelt and failing to obey a lawful demand, TMZ reports. The singer was stopped by a Miami Beach officer while he was driving down Ocean Drive earlier today. According to police, the "B.E.D" crooner was pulled over for driving without a license and when asked to show his driver's license, Jacquees refused. The officer then told him to exit the vehicle, which Jacquees did, but he apparently refused to walk with the officer to the sidewalk. The police allege that Jacquees yelled, "Do not touch me."

By the time this occured, Jacquees drew a large crowd of people who were on spring break which prompted the police officer to call more officers to the scene. The singer was ultimately cuffed and taken to the police station on two misdemeanors: failure to obey a lawful command and a seat belt infraction.
