Take it back to 2001 -- Ja Rule and Ashanti are going on tour!

Ja Rule has been slowly working himself back into the spotlight. He's got an upcoming reality show on MTV that premieres later this month, he and 50 Cent rode the coattails of Drake and Meek and reignited their beef for a few good laughs, and he's also put out some new music. His latest move might just be his best, though, as he's bringing back Ashanti for a world tour.

In conjunction with the tour, he and 'Shanti are also planning to release a film together, preemptively titled Natural Born Killers. We'll let you guys be the judges of how that's gonna fare. Speaking to Billboard, Rule described the film as a cross between Oliver Stone's 1994 film of the same name and the Barbra Streisand-starring "A Star Is Born," released in 1976. It doesn't sound like the most timely material, but hey, let's get back to that world tour -- a quick reminder of a few Ja and Ashanti's classics, and we're ready to cop tickets.

Ashanti still one of the baddest of all time amirite?
