J. Cole offers up a new music video today, for "She Knows" off his Born Sinner album. Similar to his "Crooked Smile" music video, this visual tells a short story, and the Cole World MC is hardly pictured in the video at all.
The video starts with a young kid getting ready for school, and after getting dropped off he connects with a friend and the two get up to regular high school shenanigans like skateboarding, smoking, and finding an empty pool to use as their personal skate park. Once the cops spot them though, the chase is on, and the kid runs all the way back to his house, where he barges in on his mom having an affair-- with J. Cole. That's the one time we see Cole in the entire five minute video. The kid (who is called Kyle) leaves immediately, and runs back to school, where he is picked up by his father. The two head home and eat dinner with the mom as though nothing happened.
