Our bad, previously omitted from this list, we can't forget this straight OG track.
It's Yo Birthday: Game's Top Ten Tracks
The entire album is a tribute to Game's mentor and role model, Dr. Dre, and the titular song captures it perfectly. Apologizing for leaving his label, explaining his reasons, and paying homage to the former N.W.A member, Game is at his absolute best in this emotional song. Even legendary Busta Rhymes can't keep up with him on this.
How We Do (feat. 50 Cent)
A classic beat with 50 Cent taking on the hook in a way only he can, and Game still a new-comer to the rap scene with his album The Documentary. This was the album's second official single, and did not disappoint, achieving wide commercial success, not relegated to the United States. The follow-up with Fif, "Hate Or Love It," did just as well, also nabbing a spot on this list.
On the eight track of The Documentary, Game reflects on his newfound fame, his past as a drug dealer, and how he still receives hate because he's a blood. The track has a dope drum beat, one of the catchiest snare/hi-hat combos out there, courtesy of producer Just Blaze.
My Life (feat. Lil Wayne)
The title of the song says it all. Game talks on what was his dreams, how he’s acheived it, other peoples dreams and disappoints, all the while showcasing his lyrical ability on the microphone. Game's rhyme schemes are in full view here as he shifts around and tries different patterns but never truly losing his flow on this banging hit from The Documentary.
50 Cent Calls French Montana The "New Ja Rule"
50 Cent talks on the French Montana situation, and says people only listen to his songs for the features.
Game has cause to celebrate after a tumultuous week as today is his birthday. In honor of the event, we've broken down ten of his most popular tracks.
Game has been in the news lately talking about a future full-length collaboration with Chris Brown, beef with 50 Cent and has had Shyne dissing him on a track, but today, HNHH takes a moment to wish him Happy Birthday. The Compton native turns 33 and having released four albums to date, and with the highly-anticipated Jesus Piece album dropping on December 11, there was a lot of material to sift through to find our list of Game’s most popular tracks.
