IshDARR, the poster child of Milwaukeee's rap renaissance, has been readying the arrival of his forthcoming debut album. But until then, he's teased our palates with his latest "They Lost Me 2" single.
A certifiable heater, "They Lost Me 2" comes laid over a backdrop provided by frequent collaborator Canis Major, and if its any indication, Ish's next full-length outing is sure to be a goodie, inching him a step closer towards being the name to help cement Milwaukee's place as a verifiable hotbed for hip-hop. It's a role IshDARR is more than prepared to assume.
"I think it's just giving everyone in the city that initial hope and that there's more to Milwaukee than what a lot of my friends are used to and what a lot of people see," he noted in an interview in May of last year. "So doing things like this, is drastic for the city."
