Big Boi about to spaz on em'.
Big Boi is cooking up some fire. Coming off the drop of two dope Boomiverse singles, the ATLien held a private album listening party in New York City. Journalist Jayson Rodriguez was one of the lucky attendees, and he provided us fans with some new information on the record, including the potentially massive reveal about Boomiverse being bigger than we initially thought.
Big Boi previewed his new album Boomiverse tonight at Electric Lady Sound in NYC. Was 12 tracks aka the first sack, aka the first of two LPs— IG: @JaysonRodriguez (@jaysonrodriguez) April 25, 2017
Not sure when second drops or if both will drop same time. But damn I marvel at his flow. So good.— IG: @JaysonRodriguez (@jaysonrodriguez) April 25, 2017
Another record features Gucci Mane and La Flare is 💯💯💯— IG: @JaysonRodriguez (@jaysonrodriguez) April 25, 2017
Organized Noise co-produced entire LP. Big Boi said it's a big boom theory aka Big Bang. A reset. Sounds like vintage DF vibes but modern.— IG: @JaysonRodriguez (@jaysonrodriguez) April 25, 2017
To summarize, Boomiverse may or may not be a double album (or two separate albums). It has confirmed features from Gucci Mane and Kurupt (with some reports saying Travis Scott also has a feature), with Organized Noize handling the bulk of the production. Stay tuned for a metric ton of new Daddy Fat Saxx, dropping soon.
