If you’re not too familiar with upcoming artist Bas yet, then MTV has got you covered here. In a very personal interview live from his basement in Queens, NY, the Dreamville artist chopped it up with MTV host, Nadeska Alexis, as she visited his home where his latest effort, Last Winter, was actually recorded.
During their chat, Bas shared some of his most memorable experiences as an artist so far, as well as his influences growing up, his relationship with J. Cole, and much more.
Bas said he was a “college dropout with no direction,” and decided to pursue music and get away from the streets.
