With B4da$$ a little over two weeks away, Joey Bada$$ received the type of promotion most artists would dream of.

Recently an image hit the internet that showed Malia Obama, the eldest of daughter of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, rocking a Pro Era t-shirt.

While Gawker has now confirmed that the image was received via a mutual friend of both Malia and Bada$$, it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, as Malia was spotted catching Chance the Rapper's Lollapalooza set August of last year.

Of course, Malia isn't the only fan of Hip-Hop in the first family, as Barack has announced his respect for the music and its artists on multiple occasions.

[UPDATE: White House Investigating Release Of Malia Obama's Selfie]

As we reported on earlier this week, a selfie of Malia Obama rocking a Pro Era t-shirt went viral on the internet. According to a rep for Joey Bada$$ the image is real, and the crew received the photo through a "mutual friend" of both Malia and Pro Era.

Well, this being Malia Obama, the daughter of President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, normal selfie rules do not apply. Meaning, the average selfie does not incite an investigation from the White House. However, this one did just that. Fox News reports that the White House is launching an investigation to find out how the image made its way onto the internet in the first place, although it still remains uncertain if the photo is 100% authentic.

Michelle Obama has been known to be strict with her daughters' usage of social media, reportedly not allowing the youngest Sasha on any social media platform, although granting Malia access to Facebook.
