Drake is currently putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated Views From The 6 album, which is reportedly set to arrive sometime next month. However, that may not be the only project the 6 God has his hands on this year. According to fellow OVO member, ILoveMakonnen, a compilation album from the entire OVO camp is reportedly already finished, and could be dropping later this year.
While out promoting his upcoming EP Drink More Water 6, which arrives March 18, Makonnen spilled the news in an interview with Huffington Post on Thursday afternoon. “A collaboration album? I can’t say too much,” said Makonnen smiling. “It exists. We’ll just see when it comes out.” Trying to keep his mouth shut, Makonnen fittingly said “October” when asked about a possible release date, “maybe October some time, right?.”
Makonnen is joined by the boss man Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Majid Jordan, Roy Wood$, OB O’Brien, and the newly signed dvsn on the OVO squad.
