Iggy Azalea Thanks D'Angelo Russell For Snitching On Nick Young

Iggy Azalea has found herself at the center of another internet controversy, but this time she didn’t start it. We’re about to get real deep with this shit, so put on your gossip goggles and buckle up.

Last week, a video surfaced that seemed to show Los Angeles Lakers’ wing Nick Young admitting that he cheated on his fiance Iggy Azalea this past summer, and explaining why he can’t holler at Amber Rose. The video was taken surreptitiously by Lakers rookie point guard D’Angelo Russell, but it’s unclear if he’s the one who leaked them to Famelous. Russell is clearly grossed out by the idea of a 30 year old Nick Young hooking up with a 19 year old girl (Russell is 20).

Once these things hit the internet, shit hits the fan. Inevitably, Iggy Azalea saw the video and tweeted about it late last night. She plays somewhat coy, simply saying “hmmm i see D Angelo Russell is trending… I actually liked his film. Thanks bro.”

While Iggy Azalea may be thanking the young NBA star, the rest of his team is not. Many people have come after Russell for blowing up Swaggy P’s spot. ESPN has even reported that the rest of the LA Lakers roster is now giving Russell the extreme cold shoulder for breaking ‘bro code’. Sources explain that, “at a recent breakfast meeting, no Laker would sit with Russell at his table.” Seems like childish behavior, but trust is an important factor for basketball teams. D’Angelo Russell is going to have a hard time regaining his team’s trust for a while after dry snitching like this.
