Iggy Azalea cancels another concert, this one at Pittsburgh's Pridefest.
Thought you were going to see an Iggy Azalea concert this summer? Think again! Unless you live in Ottawa or Quebec (both of which she's hitting in July), you're shit out of luck, now that she's cancelled yet another previously-scheduled date. After nixing her entire "Great Escape" tour last week, last night she tweeted that she will not be performing at Pittsburgh Pridefest this Saturday, June 13th.
This decision follows (and may have been partially spurred by) protests from the city's queer community about Azalea's perceived homophobia, which cited some old tweets in which she used slurs like "homo" and "dykes." In her announcement of the news, the rapper doesn't shy away from this accusation, citing carelessness on her own part and apologizing for her past actions.
