Following up his “Nothing Like Me” release from June, Chicago rapper Ibn Ignlor decides to come through this week and share a brand new song & accompanying video for us called “Not My King,” which will see life on his upcoming Honegloria album dropping this Fall.
Directed by MIRO, the dark & intense new clip video finds the Windy City rapper letting go of his emotions while “dancing” (if you can even call it that) around a neighborhood basketball court. Here’s what the rising rapper had to say about the clip in its premiere with Fader:
"We made 'Not My King' as a statement. The video is me letting out my frustrations in the place I first learned to speak up for myself and for what I believe in."
