Iamsu! and his HBK gang had a pretty big 2013, and are gearing up for even bigger things this year. 'Su was still cruising off the success of his $usy 6 $peed mixtape at the top of the year, and ended up releasing a joint mixtape with Problem (Million Dollar Afro), a solo project (Kilt II), and a crew tape (Gang Forever) by the year's end.
Between that and the surprise success of HBK member Sage The Gemini, Iamsu! is ready to launch his debut album, which will be titled Sincerely Yours, and will see release in April.
“I feel like this needs to be really autobiographical, just talking about my whole story,” he told XXL. “It’s everything I can really stand behind. It’s just me to the core.”
The California rapper also revealed that there will be plenty of collaborations between him and Sage this year.
“I am on Sage’s [album] a bunch of times, he’s gonna be on my CD a bunch of times." he said. "He’s actually going to be on the first song I put out for the album to start the campaign.”
