Houston police have shared a video of a man who is filmed shooting a semi-automatic weapon from the backseat of a moving car. Taking to Snapchat, the gunman who goes by the name "DabDaddyDono," posted a video smoking a cigarette before whipping out his rifle and firing off a round of bullets into the city's streets with an adjoining message asking "who wants smoke?"

The exact time and location of the shooting has yet to be identified, with police revealing that the incident could have occurred in late March or early last week. However, authorities believe the episode may have occurred somewhere in northwest Houston, as the suspect posted an image tagged in that neighbourhood prior to having posted the video of him shooting.

Police are hoping that by releasing the footage to the public, they will be able to identify and detain the shooter, who did not injure or kill any innocent pedestrians.

Just last year, a couple in the Houston area were arrested for taking a joyride and firing off a round of bullets in a similar fashion. They also documented their tirade on Snapchat for all their followers to witness.

If you have any information about the incident, authorities are urging you to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
