It seems like there couldn't be a worse weekend for Governors Ball and Summer Jam to take place, as storm warnings has forced organizers of both festivals to cancel portions of their events. While Gov Ball's Sunday performances have been cancelled entirely, HOT 97's annual show will go on as planned, though the outdoor Festival Village stage that was to host performances prior to the main event will no longer be taking place.

This means that scheduled sets by Chance The Rapper, Tory lanez, Curren$y, Desiigner, Post Malone, and more have been affected. Here's hoping that some of those artists will be compensated by surprise appearances on the main stage. The stadium stage is set to host performances from the likes of Big Sean, Pusha T, DJ Khaled, ASAP Rocky, ASAP Ferg, Young Thug, Future, Travis Scott, as well as a Terror Squad reunion.

It is possible that further delays or a full cancellation could still occur depending on the weather. HOT 97's statement can be ready below. Gates to the show at Metlife Stadium will now open at 8:30PM tonight.
