The credits on Beyoncé's new album Lemonade read like an oddly-selected history of pop, R&B, and rock music, with modern indie names like Ezra Koenig and Animal Collective sitting alongside titanic legends like OutKast, Led Zeppelin, and Isaac Hayes.
Beyonce's "Lemonade" Credits Include The-Dream, Soulja Boy, Just Blaze, Diplo & More
Beyonce released her sixth album in her usual surprise fashion tonight, as Lemonade appeared on Tidal after the HBO premiere of the "visual album" of the same name. Unsurprisingly, there is a vast array of mega-talented musicians behind Beyonce's latest work. Those who tuned in likely recognized the voices of Kendrick Lamar ("Freedom"), The Weeknd ("6 Inch"), and James Blake ("Forward").

We're quickly approaching the holidays, which means the year-end lists are in full effect. While many of us are looking back at the abundance of great music that's dropped over the past 50 weeks, some of our favorite rappers are showing no signs of showing down. Behind The Beat: Chase N. Cashe
Chase N. Cashe just turned 28 last week, but he’s already a veteran in the music business, a multitalented rapper and producer who was working with the likes of R. Kelly, Yung Joc, and G-Unit well before he had his first legal drink. Though he is equal parts rapper and producer — “Chase the rapper is my life and Chase the producer is my job” — this article will place the lens on his production.

However we also received new projects from Rich The Kid, TeeCee4800 and Scarface-- just the range in these artists means there's a little something for every rap fan.

He says that previous collaborators Statik Selektah and DJ Premier have beats on the album, as well as HS87's Hit-Boy, which is pretty exciting news, considering Bada$$' love of boom-bap and the lack of boom-bap beats in Hit-Boy's arsenal.
