Top Tracks: December 7 - December 13
We're quickly approaching the holidays, which means the year-end lists are in full effect. While many of us are looking back at the abundance of great music that's dropped over the past 50 weeks, some of our favorite rappers are showing no signs of showing down. Shortly after dropping his Black Friday remix package with Kendrick Lamar, J.
Behind The Beat: Chase N. Cashe
Chase N. Cashe just turned 28 last week, but he’s already a veteran in the music business, a multitalented rapper and producer who was working with the likes of R. Kelly, Yung Joc, and G-Unit well before he had his first legal drink. Though he is equal parts rapper and producer — “Chase the rapper is my life and Chase the producer is my job” — this article will place the lens on his production.
Staff Picks (September 4)
It's that time of the week again. On Friday we round up the HNHH staff's favorite releases from the past week, and compile them in a no-skips-necessary playlist. We had a few notable releases this week, namely Travi$ Scott's Rodeo, Rick Ross' Black Dollar and K Camp's Only Way Is Up. However we also received new projects from Rich The Kid, TeeCee4800 and Scarface-- just the range in these artists means there's a little something for every rap fan.

Hit-Boy's been staying busy producing for other artists but he's also been prepping his solo projects on the low, as today he drops a 5-track EP called Zoomin' without warning. It's his first solo project since 2012's HITStory and apparently is serving as a prelude to his debut solo album that he plans to put out sometime in early 2016.
Manolo Rose Says He Has Songs With Harry Fraud & Hit-Boy In Store
Fresh off the release of his debut mixtape Concrete Rose, Manolo Rose stopped by the office to speak on the project and what else he has in store this year. At this point, it's become pretty common knowledge that the rapper is the creator of Troy Ave's hit "All About The Money," however he's slowly transitioned into a star of his own with hits like "Run Ricky Run," and most recently "Super Flexin."
10 Essential Audio Push Tracks
You may know them from "Teach Me How To Jerk." You may know them from their latest project, the solid, 420 mixtape titled Good Vibe Tribe. Either way, you should know them by now. The duo, comprised of Oktane and Price, doesn't appear to be going anywhere soon, so if you're not acquainted, we'll bring you up to speed. Audio Push has worked with the likes of Casey Veggies, Rick Ross, Vince Staples, Kid Cudi, Juicy J, Tech N9ne, and Hit-Boy, whose label they signed to in 2013.

Since 2007, Forbes has been profiling young rappers who are making major cash money. Each year, the magazine chooses a list of "Cash Princes" who they think could eventually become "Cash Kings", a more exclusive list that includes industry moguls like Diddy, Jay Z, and Dr. Dre. "Feeling Myself," a Hit-Boy-produced gem from Nicki Minaj's new album, features two of the most powerful women in the game flexing even harder than they did on the "Flawless" remix earlier this year. Apparently, another one of hip-hop's most talented females had a hand in the song's creation. Hit-Boy has just revealed that SZA wrote a part for the track.
Joey Bada$$ Reveals That He Worked With Hit-Boy, DJ Premier And Statik Selektah On "B4.DA.$$"
Although we haven't heard a first single, gotten a release date or seen artwork from Joey Bada$$' long-awaited debut album, B4.DA.$$, he claims that it's finished. In a new interview with MTV, the de facto Pro Era leader gave just a few hints about what we can expect from the full-length project. He says that previous collaborators Statik Selektah and DJ Premier have beats on the album, as well as HS87's Hit-Boy, which is pretty exciting news, considering Bada$$' love of boom-bap and the lack of boom-bap beats in Hit-Boy's arsenal.

Hit-Boy Discusses Frustrations With "Trophies" Roll Out & "Alert"
The roll-out for Drake's "Trophies" was definitely a long, frustrating one for the fans, and equally so for the producer behind the record, Hit-Boy. The producer in demand sat down with STASHED recently and spoke on the record as well as other cuts he's worked on this past year, including the Nipsey Hussle-featured and Chronic-referencing "Alert."

Drake May Be Dropping New Material With Hit-Boy
After the generous rollout for Nothing Was The Same, which gave us a great deal of free material, we were fairly sure (and perfectly happy with the fact) that the album leak would be the last of the new tracks we'd hear from Drake for a while. Turns out, on top of the project, we may be getting some new Hit-Boy-produced material from Drizzy in the near future.
Drake And Hit-Boy In The Studio Together
There isn't much info with the pic, but it definitely offers up excitement for fans of Drake. A photo was posted on Instagram of Drizzy in the studio with hit-making producer Hit-Boy. The hashtag #somewhereinToronto was included so it might be a hint that this is for the upcoming Nothing Was The Same album, with the HS87 artist producing, and possibly rapping.
