See how hip hop artists are saying about the passing of Prince.
It has been less than an hour since reports of Prince's death surfaced, and already hundreds of thousands of fans are taking to Twitter to share their initial reaction.
Prince was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Pitchfork named the title track of the film "Purple Rain" the best song of the '80s. He leaves behind a massive legacy that extends far beyond the scope of his genre-bending, forward-thinking music. As Roc Marciano explained, "Prince invented swag."
