Axel Holy and Judah Da Beast are two 20-year-old rappers from Connecticut. While each apparently had a very promising future in college sports, they're currently focusing on music, and they're pretty damn good at that too. Taking the dark, lo-fi sounds of Three 6 Mafia, but doing so in a way we haven't heard before, the duo pair a dissonant arpeggio with some whirring percussion. Their rap style is half way between the catchy minimalism of Migos and the ferocious word stacking of 90s underground horrorcore, and it seems to be working for them.
