Why We Like Tesfa The Twin:
Tesfa is as talented a producer as he is an emcee, introducing middle-eastern sounds to his bass-heavy style of beat-making. The result is a cloudy, cerebral kind of sound that differentiates him from many rappers coming up today. If he keeps pushing this unique style, he should break through soon.
21 year old rapper from Brooklyn with Trini roots, tesfa, the twin is a producer & emcee who started his career in 2009, with the UK label Badness Records then known as "tesmoney". Tesfa hopes to do more than just get a head bop from his beats, he's trying to spread a message, be heard, & spread lov

Why We Like SoloSam:
Coming out of the vibrant Chicago music scene, SoloSam makes sure to shine through the drill, bop, and juke scenes by supplying his own unique sound. Soundtracked by vocal samples reminiscent of early Kanye, as well as busier drums that recall the footwork of DJ Rashad, SoloSam sells his strong personality and skills over an interesting mash of production.
Solosam is a 21 year old rapper from chicago and is a full time college student at Valparaiso University. Attempting to play college football was his first dream but because of ncaa complications he was not eligible, leading him to his passion for music. #Storm was Solosams debut mixtape/

Why We Like Vonte Raekwon:
Vonte Raekwon may still be in his teens, but his lyricism, flow and knowledge indicate an artist well beyond his years. He's a student of the game, and although he's making his way in hip-hop, there's clearly some old school Blues in his blood, which is refreshing. Keep an eye on this one.
Vonte Raekwon, AKA Raekwon Webb, is an emerging Virginia artist whose great-great-grandfather happened to be internationally renowned Blues singer/songwriter Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup. One of seven children, he began writing at a young age, specifically when his parents moved the family from Hampton, VA to Memphis, TN in 2004. He hasn't been far from his pen and pad since. His time in Memphis allowed him to better understand and appreciate the origins of hip-hop and R&B, as well as develop a deep appreciation for his great-great-grandfather's music and all he underwent during his musical career. Vonte returned to Virginia in 2007 and was reborn as an artist in the summer of 2013, drawing attention from his first three official singles "Déjà Vu", "Last Flight To Thug Mansion" and "New Rules For The New School". With a growing national following, he hopes to finally have his voice heard with the release of his debut mixtape this month. Stay tuned.

Why We Like Cage The Great:
Not only is Cage The Great a dedicated emcee/producer, he's good-natured, positive and forward thinking, something the rap game could use more of. The Based God would be proud.
