Why We Like Z Nice

Z Nice has an incredibly strong delivery. Her hard rhyme style leaves no room for hooks, as she expresses in her track "Mic Check". Placing anything but pure emceeing beside Z NIce's flows would seem bland in comparison, so we're glad she generally leaves her punishing raps uninterrupted. There's generally a strong bias against female emcees in the voting for Heatseekers, so her placement in the top 4 is just frurther proof that Z is bringing something exceptional to the table.

Artist Bio:

My music can define me as a person and an artist.Im not your typical female rapper talking about her body, clothes, men etc.i speak on true experiences from my own life and how i observe the world.Im an active duty US Marine while at the same time pursuing a music career, that alone speaks 100 words.

Why We Like Tiptoe Stallone

Tiptoe Stallone has a lot of personality. His delivery is animated is enough to carry a track on its own, but his playful rhymes and concise flows definitely add quite a bit to the equation as well. Stallone's sound is a rather timeless one, with his bouncy production sounding as if it could have come from any number of eras. It makes Tiptoe an emcee with staying power, which will likely see him fair well in the voting process.

Why We Like J. Quest

J. Quest brings some slick flows, without sticking to trendy rhythms and rhyme patterns. Many up and comers wear their influences on their sleeves, but it's difficult to trace Quest's style closely back to anyone in particular-- this is a good thing. Still a newcomer in the game, it's clear J. has spent a considerable of time developing his voice, which is a huge step in making it in rap, and makes him a strong competitor in the final four.

Artist Bio:

J. Quest is an emerging Hip Hop Artist out Rowland Heights, CA.

Why We Like BlackBizzness

BlackBizzness have been together for a minute, and their experience shows. Not only does the duo pull from a range of influences that reflect the last 10+ years of hip hop, they have grown as a unit, birthing a very original sound that only years of creative partnership can produce. Their music is therefore eclectic, well exececuted, and forward looking-- which makes it no mystery that they've made it this far.
