Why we like X.O.:
A laid back Cali emcee, and winner of “Warner Bros. Hip Hop Showcase” in San Diego, this 6’6 rapper has his sights set on bigger things.  His flow drops like butter over a beat, and well... “30k views, just a nigga with a laptop/ fuckin with women who look better than your back-drop” is pretty nice.

Artist Bio:
Standing at a height of 6’6’’ and rapping out of San Diego California, Xavier Osayande, the Nigerian-American better known as “X.O.” is an unsigned hip-hop artist making waves throughout Southern California. X.O. is ushering in a new age of hip-hop that combines witty lyrical content and a smooth, laid-back style. His latest mixtape Check Please Vol. 3 has been critically acclaimed by numerous hiphop blogs and industry critics proving that this 23-year-old is ready to take that next step into superstardom. After winning Warner Bros Music Group’s hip-hop showcase in San Diego, California, X.O has set his sights on bigger things; creating quality and original sounding hiphop music, touring, and growing his fan base across the United States. My influences are Pac, Loso, and Kanye West.

Here's the track that landed him on Heat Seekers - Orange

Why we like Jeury San:
Infectious hooks.  That’s basically what landed Jeurysan on this list.  This New York lyricist and vocalist is just as capable of lacing a track with 16 bars, as he is singing a catchy hook.  Watch out for this diverse talent who’s on the come up.

Artist Bio:
Lyricist and vocalist Jeury San hails from the Bronx where he spent his days dreaming of the good life. He released his first mixtape "Emotions Untitled" in Sept. 2011 followed by his artistic endeavor "Shoegazing on Amsterdam" in Feb. 2012. Look for a new mixtape from Jeury in late 2012.

Here's the track that landed him on Heat Seekers - Think Big

This is his latest track - War Cry

Why we like M.L.A.:
These two Chicago brothers are a deadly combo.  Pak One produces their stellar jazz-infused intergalactic beats and throws down verses, while J. Pak sticks to purely rhyming.  Their celestial rhymes and allusions make for a unique listen every time, as these cats aren’t aiming for the stars, but even beyond.

Artist Bio:
j.pak & pak.one were both born in chicago. they're brothers. they both like to huff glue and eat dinosaurs. pak.one likes to make beats and rhymes whenever he fucking feels like making beats and rhymes. j.pak is always spitting verses, does most of his writing while taking shits.

Check out the track that landed them on Heat Seekers - Mary Jane
