Why We Like Elgin Nation
Elgin Nation's music possesses a certain laid back haziness that remains consistent throughout his catalogue. The easiest comparison to make is that of a "Kush & OJ" era Wiz. Much like Khalifa, Elgin Nation has a knack for hooks, and operates in his own smoked out universe. He also has an ear for synthesized instrumentals that leave a lot of open space for him to flow over. Elgin knows what he does well, and he does it with a well-developed precision, which makes him a prime contender in the competition.
Elgin Nation is an Atlanta hip-hop artist coming out of the Kennesaw area. Elgin has produced and released 3 Albums since 2011: The Transfer, An Hour Till & The St. Bernard Project. His music appeals to large vibrant college crowds with his young, laid back yet professional image and brand.

Why We Like Kid-Wiz
Kid-Wiz recalls the narrative styles of 90s icons Nas and Biggie. He even utilizes storytelling techniques like phone conversations, that many relate to the classic track "Warning". Kid references the golden-age with a certain freshness that makes his music very exciting, and his lyrical talent is developed enough to satisfy the ambitiousness of his narrative.
