Why we like Yuri Koller:
We don't often get a smooth-ass r'n'b singer submit to Heatseekers, so when a submission comes through, we pay attention. Yuri Koller was just that. He lays down vocals over an instrument-filled beat, and to make it even better, we get a little rap feature. Yuri kills the hook, creating a well-balanced song. We wouldn't mind taking a ride with Yuri!
Artist Bio:With awe-inspiring vocals, Yuri Koller (Formerly known as “Lokz”), is an unnaturally talented vocalist, songwriter and producer from Toronto primed to launch his career. Yuri captures the soulfulness of his influences, Lauryn Hill, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross amongst others from the era, as well as his parents (Arlene Duncan and George Koller) both musicians, but interprets it with his own passionate hunger. Those influences have helped construct his intrinsic sonic creations and a powerful release of his inner most secrets, feelings and emotions.

You should definitely give his new mixtape, Open Doors, a listen. It dropped November 1st.
Why we like Cam Sutton:
Cam Sutton is currently unsigned, but we don't see that lasting very long. The young rapper from Queens has definite potential, you'll find he spits some real shit about women, and who can't relate to that? He'll often get his story-telling on, but on an everyday life tip. He seems to have perfected his flow over smooth beats, sometimes giving an old school vibe. Don't get it twisted though, Cam brings something new to the game and that's why we like him.
Artist Bio:Twenty- two year old Cam Sutton is an unsigned rapper from Queens New York. He currently attends Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and is entering his Senior year pursuing a degree in Economics. Cam has dedication and stays extremely motivated. His best asset being that his sound is original and his lyrics have meaning that tell a story that's relatable. Cam is working hard on his debut mix tape "Good Conversation", due to drop November 21st. Cam’s main focus is to entertain, write, and perform his records that allow him to display his creative integrity and realistic outlook on life.

no nonsense rapper that brings back memories of hip hop glory years with sounds
