Last Monday, Drake cancelled one of his tour stops in Toronto so he could spend an extra day in Chicago. The nature of his visit was something special since he hit up the Lurie Children’s Hospital to meet Sofia Sanchez who was waiting for a heart transplant and had been in the facility for several weeks. Sofia said her birthday wish was to meet Drizzy and get a new heart.
The first half of her wish came true and now the second half of her wish has finally arrived. In the video below, Sofia is being told by her mother that she's finally getting a heart and her reaction is priceless. Check it out below.

"Sofia was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a condition that often leads to heart failure and need for heart transplantation in order to survive," a description on Sofia read. "Three weeks ago, she underwent open heart surgery in order to connect a VAD (ventricular assist device), which is a mechanical pump that helps support the heart and blood flow in people with heart failure. Most often, it serves as a bridge to heart transplantation. Each year Lurie Children’s performs only four VADs."
