Yesterday Havoc and Prodigy of hip-hop group Mobb Deep made the news when Havoc began dissing Prodigy on Twitter.
Several sources confirmed that it was indeed Havoc and his account had not been hacked. On top of this, we have audio released by the Breakfast Club of Havoc (supposedly) dissing Prodigy. N.O.R.E. was even called to confirm that it was Havoc speaking, since they are good friends, and Noreaga agreed it was Havoc's voice.
Since then though, Havoc released a statement denying dissing Prodigy at all, saying he left his phone at a gas station.
"Just getting back into NY after my Easter weekend with family and friends in Jersey. I left my phone at a gas station yesterday evening while on my way to Jersey after a glorious Knick’s game. To all Mobb Deep fans: it’s business as usual! It’s Mobb Deep all day!!! My twitter account @THEREALHAVOC will be down until further notice. The only other real account is @PRODIGYMOBBDEEP. Ignore the rest. One!"
