About Hason Known initially for his run on bet 106 & park Freestyle Friday: The Next Generation, the Bronx NY/ Staten Island native Hason (born Jamil Hason Denard) stepped out as a rapper with major mainstream hip hop appeal in 2002, when he initiated a series of mix tapes and a studio album entitled “The Next Minute” which was released independently and sold worldwide on ITunes, Amazon, and Rhapsody just to name a few distributors. A year later, despite being unsigned, he scored major exposure when his cocky and laid-back tracks "Fantasy and Rainy Days," was featured on both broadcast radio and internet radio stations. He raised his profile throughout the next several months by popping up on countless mix tapes and music videos, and as rumors swirled about contract offers from labels, he gradually became one of the most talked-about artists in the industry. It did not hurt that he had support from the likes of most industry big wigs. Hason has performed with artist like Fat Joe, Memphis Bleek, Jada Kiss, Mobb Deep, and many others. Now its 2011 with the new smash singles, "No Dance” and “I Gotta to leave," Hason is ready to take it to the next level and climb up Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Though he still not signed to a major record label, he is prepping for his debut album Titled “Educated Ignorance – E.I.” Hason is definitely what the game is missing.
