Last we heard from Sweet Valley, they were bringing some of our favorite verses out of Juicy J and Soulja Boy on "Big Blue". The duo, made up of pop punk hero Wavves, and his brother Kynan are back with another rap collab today, linking this time with Wu Tang mastermind, GZA.
The track is set to live on the Cons EP Vol. 3, a series which aims to get artists who wouldn't normally work together in the studio. Sweet Valley kick off the beat with some dirty Tobacco-esque synth tones, later getting into some hypnotic keys, paired with old movie samples to get the Wu feeling going. Meanwhile GZA does what he does best, hitting us with precise rhymes that wrap around the beat with an unmatched elegance.
