Gunplay is a few months removed from the release of his latest project, Active which dropped towards the end of June. The rapper's been pushing the project since then. Gunplay is undoubtedly a big fan of marijuana, among other substances but we recently had the Miami rapper in our office for the latest episode of "How To Roll."

Gunplay recently came through for the latest episode of "How To Roll." The rapper chose some RAW rolling papers over blunts this time around. Like most rappers, we had to ask him about the first time he smoked weed. Don Logan said he was with his boy Buck Carter in 7th grade. He had a nickle bag of "brown weed" that he and Carter ended up smoking in Gunplay's backyard. After the two went inside, Gunplay said he didn't feel anything until a window began moving which is when he realized he's high. Ultimately, his high thoughts resulted in him figuring out his passion for music.

"When I was high and I was listening and I start thinking about what my momma raised me with, what my daddy raised me with. I start going into all my shit. And I said, 'none of y'all make sense. None of that shit make sense,'" he explained. "I started calculating life at 12 years old, the year I lost my virginity, the year I smoked weed. I say, 'My n***a, dawg, I see what's going on. I got the blueprint. Everybody sleep, everybody sleep. I don't know what's going on but there's a few people that's woke' [...] I broke down life. While I was high, I was like 'What you want to do with your life? What you love?' I love pussy, I love money. I love music. What can you do everybody without getting tired? Music. What's your passion? Music. And I said, you know what? I'm gonna be a DJ."
