It was only a matter of time. After spending 2017 dropping three albums, getting married, and releasing a New York Times bestselling autobiography, Gucci Mane has solidified himself as one of hip-hop's hardest workers. And with his upcoming album The Evil Genius in the works, it seems as Gucci has no intentions of slowing down. While there's no word on whether his pitch to sign new free agent Lil Pump paid off, Guwop recently took to Twitter to announce another business venture.

It appears that Gucci Mane plans on following in the footsteps of NWA, Eminem, Notorious B.I.G., and 2Pac. The Atlanta legend has announced his intention to bring The Autobiography Of Gucci Mane to a theater near you, directed by none other than, well, Gucci Mane. As of now, news about this film pretty much confined to this tweet, but Gucci Mane isn't one for false alarms. It wouldn't be surprising to see him make this happen, although one hopes it can be done with a respectable team behind it; Gucci's story would no doubt make for some compelling cinema, especially if handled properly.

It's also unclear if Gucci plans on acting in the film as well. It wouldn't be the first time the rapper graced the silver screen, having previously appeared alongside Ashley Benson, James Franco, Selena Gomez, and Vanessa Hudgens in Harmony Korrine's Spring Breakers. For a sample of Guwop's chops, check out the scene below; he even busts out a signature "Burr!"
