In light of the Alton Sterling and Philando Castile tragedies, DJ Greg Street recruits the all-star cast of Big K.R.I.T., B.o.B., Akon, & Jesse Jackson to urge listeners to stay strong in the pursuit of peace. Interpolated throughout are soulful wah-wah guitar licks somewhat reminiscent of Funkadelic's "Maggot Brain," in which bandleader George Clinton, high on LSD, asked his guitarist, Eddie Hazel, to play as though he had learned his mother had just passed away. The guitar on "I Am Somebody" is not nearly as extraordinary, but given the circumstances it's a nice touch.
