Wrong One
Wrong One
Grafh Feat. Royce Da 5'9"
HOTTTTT
Grafh has been a rapper of notoriety in the New York scene for quite some time. (NFL Street enthusiasts may remember his gritty NYC banger "I Don't Care.") Today, he releases his new single "Wrong One" featuring featuring Royce da 5'9" and Pete Rock in an HNHH premiere. Rapping over the sort of nostalgic Pete Rock beat you could bump on repeat for hours, Grafh warns detractors of his wrath before turning the mic over to Royce, who delivers his usual melange of devastatingly witty punchlines and wordplay.
Ain't Near
Ain't Near
Grafh Feat. Wiz Khalifa & Jadakiss
HOTTTTT
Grafh first dropped "Like Me" over two years ago, but today he's rebranded the record with a new title ("Near Me") and a new verse form Jadakiss. Fresh off of releasing Top 5 Dead Or Alive, Jada proves that he gives every verse 110%, sharing a 16 that's as hard as anything on his LP.
Magic Like Disney World
Magic Like Disney World
Grafh Feat. Shalone
HOTTTTT
If you're looking for magic, there isn't a better place to go than Disney World, which Grafh and Shalone illustrate on their new record. The woozy instrumental for the song certainly sounds pretty other-worldly, making the pair's whimsical boasts land all the more sharply, and establishing the record as a good alternative if you're not willing to shell out the cash to make it to Florida.
You Mad Yet? (Remix Stupid)
You Mad Yet? (Remix Stupid)
Turk Feat. Cap 1, Maino & Grafh
HOTTTTT
The last we heard from Turk was back in September with the release of the reader-approved "Touchdown." After a short absence, he returns to our front page today with the remix to "You Mad Yet?" Featuring verses from Cap 1, Maino, and Grafh, the JoeyDidThis-produced street single is the latest promotional release from the former Hot Boy. Whether or not it's attached to a larger mixtape or LP is not currently known. Stay tuned as we continue to cover Turk's latest and greatest.
Walk In New York
Walk In New York
Grafh Feat. Raekwon & Vado
HOTTTTT
Grafh just dropped off a new collaboration with fellow New Yorkers Raekwon and Vado, for the aptly titled "Walk In New York." The three MCs wanted to recreate the classic New York feel by remaking the Onyx track, with production from DJ Ted Smooth. The dark, gritty record complete with scratches definitely emulates the sound of New York past. "Pure hip-hop at its finest," Grafh says of the track. Do you agree?
No Half Steppin'
No Half Steppin'
Grafh Feat. Smoke DZA
HOTTTTT
The last we heard from Grafh he was on his New York shit with Murda Mook. Some things never change. Collaborating Brooklyn's Smoke DZA, Grafh keeps things strictly east coast on the follow-up single from his upcoming 88 Crack Era project. Produced by Ted Smooth, this new school rendition of Big Daddy Kane's "Ain't No Half Stepping" instrumental adds subtle updates to the classic instrumental.
Dopamine
Dopamine
Chris Webby Feat. Talib Kweli, Grafh, B-Real & Trae Tha Truth
HOTTTTT
Chris Webby gives us a bit of a science lesson as to what dopamine is exactly on his latest single off Chemically Imbalanced-- it's an appropriate record given the album's title, and the record is all about getting high off happiness. We recently premiered "Fuck Off" from Chemically Imbalanced, but this record is a posse cut, with appearances from Talib Kweli, Grafh, B-Real and Trae Tha Truth, an interesting mix of artists to say the least, but the beat changes up as necessary to match each artist's style.
New York $hxt
New York $hxt
Grafh Feat. Murda Mook
HOTTTTT
Grafh and Murda Mook take on a classic Nas instrumental on this brand new single off Grafh's 88 Crack Era mixtape. The last we heard from Grafh was in January when the rapper came through with "Zip Em Up," a track that left readers impressed with the emcee's back-to-basics sound. "New York $hxt" sounds like another win for this up-and-coming emcee. Give it a listen and let us know what you think of the track in the comments section. Want to hear more?
