Everyone knows the Mustard sound. His blend of West Coast hip-hop and EDM has been irresistible for a few years now, and he's likely to provide the soundtrack for "10 Summers" to come. Last year, when we first heard Chris Brown, Tyga & Weezy on "Loyal," we figured it had to be Mustard on the beat, but it turns out, another Cali guy, Nic Nac, knows the formula to the perfect summer banger. After "Loyal," Nic Nac's gone on to produce tracks for Tinashe, Pia Mia, Kevin Gates ("IDGT"), and Breezy & Tyga again ("Ayo").
Now, much to our delight, two of Cali's finest hitmakers have teamed up under the moniker MustardMayo, and for their debut release, "Got U," they've brought along three hot Bay Area talents. Over a predictably thumpin' production from Mustard & Nac, the track is laced with smooth verses from Iamsu! and Symba, while singer Marc E. Bassy nails the hook.
