2017 is the 20th anniversary of the Nike Air Max 97 but Nike has yet to announce any real plans to retro a bunch of the iconic kicks in celebration of the occasion.
Sure, there was the limited edition "Silver Bullet" Air Max 97 release earlier this year, but other than that it doesn't appear as though Nike is honoring the AM97 in the same fashion they did the Air Max 95 a few years back.
The year is young though, and news that the "Gold" Air Max 97 is making a return in May gives us hope that more classic 97s will be releasing as we hit the Spring and Summer months.
