Instagram celebrity "Girl With No Job," whose real name is Claudia Oshry Soffer, has found herself in some hot water, and its directly linked to her social media presence. News recently broke that the mother of the social media star is none other than Pamela Geller, a noted right-wing Republican with a strong anti-Muslim agenda.
Since the revelation, Oshry Soffer spoke to Page Six about how she and her sisters, who are also social media famous, cannot be typecast based on their mother's political associations. "We want to be clear to our audience and fans that our political and cultural beliefs are not anti-Muslim or anti-anyone. Our views are separate from our mother’s. Being raised by a single parent, we were taught to make our own choices based on our personal beliefs. We are inspired to think for ourselves and we do. We do not condone discrimination or racist beliefs of any kind."
However, this statement seems to be at odds with Oshry Soffer's former self, as old tweets suggest that she shares the same anti-Muslim sentiments as her mother. A Twitter user has unearthed these troubling posts, which directly attack former president Barack Obama.

In response to this PR blunder, Oshry Soffer took to Instagram to post a teary-eyed apology, which she blames on her ignorant teenage self, noting how she's not a racist whatsoever.

In the aftermath of this apology, Oath Inc. has cancelled the Oshry sisters' YouTube show "The Morning Breath" indefinitely; some wounds may never heal.
